What’s on the Ballot in 2020

7th Congressional Seat

Jason Church, and State Senator Tom Tiffany will be on the ballot for the primary on February 18.  The special election is to fill the remainder of the term in the United States House of Representatives for Wisconsin’s 7th congressional district in the 116th United States Congress. Sean Duffy, resigned on September 23, 2019, as his wife was about to give birth to a child with a heart condition. The Primary is February 18, 2020 and the special general election for May 12, 2020.

Wisconsin’s 7th congressional district is a congressional district of the United States House of Representatives in northwestern and central Wisconsin; it is the largest congressional district in the state geographically, covering 20 counties .

State Supreme Court

Conservative Justice Daniel Kelly was appointed to the Supreme Court by Gov. Scott Walker in 2016 to fill the vacancy created by the retirement of Justice David T. Prosser, Jr. Kelly announced on May 28, 2019, that he would seek a full ten-year term in 2020. The primary will occur on February 18, 2020. The general election will occur on April 7, 2020.
